Join us in congratulating Bitvore's Chief Data Officer, Greg Bolcer, who will be inducted into the 2020 UCI Engineering and ICS Hall of Fame.
Greg has a plethora of academic and professional achievements and can best be described as having a "brain for math, finesse with computers, the eyes of an artist, and the heart of an entrepreneur." His work ethic and passion have driven his involvement in numerous startups, including three he founded. He is responsible for creating new and innovative software products and authoring nearly two dozen software patents throughout his career.
Greg has deep roots in the history of UCI and Orange County. When it came to choosing a college, there was only one choice. His great grandparents on his mom's side of the family were orange ranchers in Orange County. His dad was a football star at NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology) who came to OC in the '60s to pursue an engineering career in the aerospace industry.
We are thrilled to have had Greg on the Bitvore team since 2012, where as Chief Data Officer he uses AI to provide leading indicators of company, market and industry performance. His outstanding achievements will be recognized by UCI's Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, who will honor him at the Alumni Hall of Fame Celebration on February 28, 2020.
