I had an awesome time speaking at the FISD Boston event last month hosted by State Street. It was really nice to be back in busy and bustling Boston.
The FISD is the global forum of choice for industry participants to discuss, understand and facilitate the evolution of financial information for the key players in the value chain including consumer firms, third party groups and data providers. It is a dynamic environment in which members identify the trends that will shape the industry and create education opportunities and industry initiatives to address them. The FISD host regular events around the globe for industry participants.
My session was an opportunity to introduce Boston members to Bitvore and update attendees on our continued product enhancements and new product offerings.
With up to 90% of the data generated globally every day being unstructured, only AI can access the insights hidden at scale. Obviously, data becomes less useful when it can’t be accessed easily and used effectively. Without unlocking data, organisation will find themselves operationally and competitively disadvantaged, or even vulnerable to regulatory censure. Timely accessible insights to drive decisions remains a key area where technology can be appropriately deployed and solutions designed to help organisations achieve their goals.
I shared with the audience that in response to an ever-growing demand for diverse and company-specific insights, we have expanded our data coverage to include a broader range of both public and private companies to over 580,000 entities, with over 500,000 companies on our database matched to DUNs numbers. We now harvest data from over 80,000 quality sources of unstructured content, both public and licensed with over a million pieces of content analyzed daily.
I touched upon our fairly recently added Bitvore enriched data at the article and entity level that includes advanced tagging for people, industry, key phrases, Geo Lat/Long, entity relationships, plus many more. Additional enriched data fields include; document sentiment, topic vector, key phrases, relationships, salience and confidence in addition to advanced entity extraction. These enhanced capabilities provide deeper data and gives greater insights into complex relationships. I also shared that we have expanded our data marketplace presence, with new products launched on the Snowflake Marketplace.
Finally, I gave an update on our summer of 2023 acquisition of a Supply Chain Risk Intelligence start-up. We have now integrated their cutting-edge technology into our organization to further bolster our capabilities with the beta launch of our new Supply Chain Risk Intelligence Platform www.in10.ai .
